Damn ebay, damn retro games.
Ebay is great and if you are into retro games it’s often the only way to buy consoles and games.
But ebay needs research it’s not a place to impulse buy. Unless you are me who has just paid £40+ for a Sega Mega drive with 8 games. It should have been £25 max but I didn’t do my research. I always steer clear of auctions where the seller sets the initial price, this time I missed that subtle fact and bid on an item where the seller had set the price. There were no other bids and normally I would have noticed it but in my excitement at using ebay I didn’t 🙁
Oh well in the spirit of ebay I paid up – it was my fault after all.
Lesson of the day, if you are using ebay, research, research research!
